Now in its 60th year, the Giving USA Report is an excellent source of data about charitable giving in the nation, as it tracks estimates of what was given by four different types of donors—individuals, foundations, estates (bequests), and corporations.

We’re excited to announce that Una O. Osili, Ph. D., the lead researcher of the Giving USA data, will share the latest results!

Dr. Osili is the Associate Dean for Research and International Programs at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, a leading academic institution dedicated to increasing the understanding of philanthropy and improving its practice worldwide. The production and release of Giving USA is the result of collaborative efforts of Giving USA Foundation™, a public service initiative of The Giving Institute, and The Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Following Dr. Osili will be a moderated discussion mirroring the report—focusing on local philanthropy—featuring board members of The Giving Institute, and representative funders of corporations, individuals, private foundations, and bequests.
